Merak Capital is a Riyadh-based investment firm founded and led by CEO Abdullah Altamami, investing in early-stage Saudi and MENA technology companies (fintech, SaaS, enterprise, cybersecurity, supply chain) through its Merak Technology Venture Fund, and in gaming studios and platforms through the Merak Gaming Fund and its Exel Gaming Accelerator. The firm's portfolio spans 30+ companies including Qoyod, ConvertedIn and Magnitt on the technology side and Astravalle Studio and Khosouf Studio in gaming. In February 2025 it partnered with Microsoft to bring Azure cloud services and mentorship to Saudi gaming founders through Exel.
