Peak XV Partners (the former Sequoia Capital India & Southeast Asia) is a multi-stage venture firm investing across India, Southeast Asia and, increasingly, the Middle East. Its leadership includes Shailendra Singh, who has led India/ASEAN activity since joining in 2006, and Managing Director GV Ravishankar. Peak XV made its highest-profile UAE fintech bet leading Alaan's $48M Series A in August 2025 - one of the largest Series A rounds in MENA at the time, with participation from angel investors who founded Tabby and Careem - and separately counts MENA BNPL/fintech player Tabby in its portfolio.
