A-Typical Ventures is a Doha-based, Qatar Financial Centre-domiciled early-stage fund backed by the Qatar Investment Authority and Qatar Development Bank, investing pre-seed through pre-Series A in "AI-native, system-level infrastructure" (energy, industrial, financial and digital systems) across the GCC, Levant, Türkiye and Pakistan, with roughly 40% of the fund reserved for follow-on rounds. It officially launched at Web Summit in 2025, pairing direct investment with QDB's venture-building support. Early bets include Metric (UAE/Pakistan fintech), Governata (Saudi data governance) and Wellbees (Turkish HR tech).
