EQ2 Ventures

EQ2 Ventures is a Dubai-based evergreen investor that began in 2015 as Equitrust, the corporate VC arm of Choueiri Group, and spun off as an independent venture holding in 2020. It backs Seed-to-Series A companies (with follow-on capacity up to $3M) in ad-tech, e-commerce/marketplaces, ed-tech, fintech and AI-powered SaaS across the Middle East and Africa. As of December 2024 it reported $30M deployed since inception, 27 active investments, $71.8M in portfolio NAV, a 17% net IRR and 2.6x MOIC, with seven full exits including Golden Scent and The Luxury Closet. Its exited portfolio also includes Fresha, which reached unicorn status in 2026.
