Founded in 2012, BECO Capital is one of the earliest institutional VC firms in the Gulf, investing from inception through growth stage across the region. Managing Partners Dany Farha and Yousef Hammad have built a portfolio of over 50 companies, with early bets including Careem (acquired by Uber), Property Finder, Kitopi, Fresha and Thndr. In September 2025 the firm closed $370 million across two new vehicles — a $120 million Fund IV for pre-seed to Series A, and a $250 million Growth Fund for Series B through pre-IPO — taking total AUM to over $820 million.
