Phaze Ventures

Phaze Ventures, founded in Muscat in 2018, is Oman's oldest private venture capital firm, investing $100K-$2M in pre-seed to Series A B2B AI and deep-tech startups across the GCC and North America. Its roughly 16-company portfolio includes SpotLight (subsurface-monitoring geoscience, piloted with Petroleum Development Oman), the AI fundraising platform Metal (also backed by a16z and Y Combinator), Arabic.AI, Andromeda Surgical and Clarity. The firm is led by co-founder and CEO Abdullah Al-Shaksy alongside co-founder and partner Mohammed Al-Wahaibi.
