About
Vision Ventures is a sector-agnostic, early-stage VC firm founded in 2016 in Dammam (with presence in Riyadh, Cairo and Amsterdam), originally spun out of parent company Sahara Net before transitioning to an independent GP/LP structure in 2018. It invests from pre-seed to Series A in SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, healthtech, e-commerce, insurtech and AI, and by 2023 had made 47 investments (20 Saudi-based, 86 total deals) with three exits — MENAbytes, POSRocket and MUNCH:ON. Current portfolio, deployed under its Saqr Fund II vehicle, includes Deep, Vennre, TaminTech, Yamm and Madeed, alongside earlier-era investments such as Salla, Calo, Tamara and Foodics.
