Wafra

Wafra Inc. is a New York-headquartered alternative asset manager beneficially owned by Kuwait's Public Institution for Social Security, investing across private equity, real estate, credit and real assets (aviation, digital infrastructure, shipping, renewable energy) on behalf of institutional limited partners. Founded in 1985, the firm manages more than $20 billion in AUM and runs Capital Constellation, a strategy that makes minority investments in emerging alternative-asset managers alongside sovereign and pension-fund co-investors, active since 2012. In July 2026, Capital Constellation's fifth vehicle (CG V) held a final close at $2.0 billion, exceeding its $1.5 billion target and becoming its largest fund yet. Wafra also deepened a strategic equity partnership with European private-equity firm Ardian through 2026, building on an initial investment made in November 2025.
