Arāya Ventures is a London-based early-stage investor founded by Rupa Popat, backing pre-seed and seed companies across AI, fintech, healthtech, future of work and next-generation commerce, with more than 70% of its portfolio in AI-application startups. The platform runs three vehicles — a $26.3 million Super Angel Fund backed by the British Business Bank, a $30 million Global Fund and a £15 million Arāya Sie Fund — deploying across the UK, GCC and Asia, and has made roughly 20 investments to date. Kamyaar Butt leads the firm's GCC investing.
