Dubai Future District Fund

Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) is Dubai's AED 1 billion fund-of-funds and direct-investment platform, anchored by the Dubai International Financial Centre and Dubai Future Foundation, targeting early-stage "future economy" sectors such AI and proptech through both direct startup checks and commitments to venture funds. As of mid-2026 it reported 22 direct startup investments and 20 fund-of-funds commitments (about 30 total), including direct bets on Isometric and a fund commitment to MetaProp. The fund's founding CEO Sharif El-Badawi departed and, as of 2026 reporting, the search for a permanent successor was ongoing, with H.E. Khalfan Belhoul chairing the Board and Nader AlBastaki serving as managing director.
