Shorooq Partners is an Abu Dhabi-headquartered alternative investment manager running venture capital, private credit, private equity and real-asset strategies across fintech, software and frontier tech, with roughly $1 billion in AUM and 100+ portfolio companies across 11 countries. Founded in 2017 by Mahmoud Adi and Shane Shin, the firm typically writes $1-3 million seed-to-Series A checks and counts institutional backers including Mubadala, PIF's Jada Fund of Funds, Saudi Venture Capital and the Qatar Investment Authority. It has diversified into dedicated vehicles, including a $100 million venture debt fund and, with Presight (a G42 company), a $100 million AI-focused fund launched in September 2025.
