VentureSouq

VentureSouq is a MENA-based, multi-fund venture manager investing from seed through growth stage, currently running active FinTech and ClimateTech funds plus a deployed Global Seed vehicle, with a stated 300+ portfolio companies across 30+ countries. It was founded in 2013 by Suneel Gokhale, Sonia Gokhale, Sonia Weymuller and Tammer Qaddumi, all with backgrounds in sovereign wealth funds, private equity and global banks. In September 2025 the firm closed its second FinTech Fund, backed by LPs including PIF-owned Jada Fund of Funds, Saudi Venture Capital, Saudi Awwal Bank and Mubadala, to target payments infrastructure, alternative credit, digital banking, proptech and insurtech across MENA.
