Village Capital is a US-based impact investor and accelerator platform founded in 2009 by Ross Baird, Victoria Fram and Sean Foote, backing early-stage startups tackling climate, economic mobility and essential-services challenges across more than 70 countries. It combines sector-specific accelerator cohorts with direct equity, debt and revenue-share investments deployed through its affiliated VilCap Investments funds. By its own reporting the platform has supported nearly 1,800 startups and helped mobilize $7.5 billion in follow-on capital, with 150+ direct investments to date. Ellen Brooks became CEO in September 2025, succeeding long-time CEO Allie Burns.
